What it seeks or protects
How you respond to a bonus, an unexpected final payment and a valued collection. Wanting another gain, sharing income and giving a treasured item can matter differently.
Constructive expression
Enjoying a gain, pursuing another goal and sharing something valuable are different options. You can consider each in its own circumstances.
Imbalance risk
If the next gain is always the focus, it may leave little room to enjoy the current one. That is something to notice, not a reason to assume fear or insecurity.
In relationships
Sharing a payment and giving a valued possession ask different things of you. Willingness in one situation does not settle what you want in the other.
Under pressure
When a gain or a request arrives, pause to distinguish what you value about keeping it from what you value about sharing it.
